This International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia, we are beyond excited to announce a new partnership between Foria and NorWest Community Health Centres. Starting today, anyone living in and around Thunder Bay can access Foria's services for free. These services are virtual hormone therapy and surgical assessments/referrals. This is a huge step to ensure more equitable access to virtual gender-affirming care for trans, non-binary and gender-diverse people in Ontario. It comes a year after Connect-Clinic - Foria's predecessor - was forced to close due to provincial billing code changes. Our mission is to offer our care at no cost across the province, and we hope it is the first of many such partnerships.
