Earlier this week Mayor Patrick Brown, City Councillor Rod Power, and the Invest Brampton - Economic Development Office joined us for a memorable visit. We started this business 60 years ago with nothing more than a dream. And a dented toolbox. Let our journey serve as a reminder that when you dare to aim higher in life, limits often become stepping stones. Thank you, Brampton, for six decades of support and partnership. Together we're building a future where innovation knows no bounds. Special acknowledgment to Andrea Williams for arranging this visit, Denise McClure, and Paul Aldunate. #HarrisCabs #CitadelEnclosures #Canerector

Arguably North America’s most customizable forklift cabs.
About us
What does Harris-Stolper do? Well, in a nutshell we build cabs. Really. Good. Cabs. No, not taxi cabs. Protective enclosures that keep operators safe. We believe safe employees are happier and more engaged in their work, and typically more productive. And because we’ve had time to hone our craft (starting back in 1963), it’s earned us a reputation for lift truck cabs in particular – quality materials, colors, and unrivaled craftsmanship. In keeping up with ever-evolving forklift technology, our cab catalog now offers 400+ active models. And the capability to make cabs for virtually ANY brand or model of lift truck not currently in our library. We also custom engineer for a variety of other applications. Some examples of equipment currently fitted with our cabs include: • Ship unloaders in Israel • Forestry vehicles in Western Canada • Railroad maintenance vehicles in Africa • Mining machines in Russia and South America • Trucks used in handling transport containers in Australia Today our 40,000 square-foot building in the Greater Toronto Area houses a design and engineering facility supported by 3D CAD-CAM, and a complete metal-fabrication department equipped with state-of-the-art precision machinery (including laser cutting and robotic welding). If we can be of assistance, please let us know!

In time for Halloween, a good cab partner can provide glass options to protect your operators against even the most obscure applications. Heat-resistant. Shatter-resistant. Vampire-resistant. #HarrisCabs #CitadelEnclosures #Canerector

Three life lessons learned after six decades of cab manufacturing: 1 - Don't beat yourself up over setbacks. It’s painful when they happen, but a collection of them over time becomes experience. 2 - Build a team so strong you don’t know who the boss is. Great things are never done by one person, they’re accomplished by a team of people. 3 - It always seems impossible until it’s done. Perseverance is stubbornness with a purpose. Thankful to everyone who has shared in our journey – past, present, and future! #HarrisCabs #CitadelEnclosures #Canerector

A good goal for your cab is to get one that’s so comfortable, your operators will be more grateful for it than mom’s pumpkin pie. No, it’s not about creating a luxury suite, just a workspace that enhances productivity. The secret recipe? Maximum visibility, intuitive accessories, and top-notch workmanship. Everything else is just empty calories in your budget. Happy (Canadian) Thanksgiving Weekend! #HarrisCabs #CitadelEnclosures #Canerector

“Winter is Coming” was a hugely popular phrase from Game of Thrones. They used it to remind themselves and others that tough times are always ahead. And to remain prepared for challenges, weather-related or otherwise. Thankfully, in North America your risk of being attacked by a band of archers, or dragonfire, is (relatively) low. But, with colder days ahead, now is a crucial time to inspect your cab accessories. Wipers. Heaters. Fans. Weatherstripping. We have an extensive parts inventory, ready to ship, all essential for operator safety, comfort, and peak productivity. Don’t let a foggy window or a chilly cab slow you down. Order now and stay ahead of the cold! #HarrisCabs #CitadelEnclosures #Canerector

No. We didn’t hire ZZ Top’s guitarist. His name’s Jake Foley. One of our newest production team members. Jake works in the assembly department, ensuring every panel meets our high standards. He’s also responsible for your meticulously glazed windows. Expertly fitted to provide a watertight cab. Outside of work Jake enjoys art sketching, pasta with extra cheese, and mountains. Any locale so long as he can be in the mountains. A true artist leaves their mark on every piece. Your skill and passion shine through, Jake, thank you! #HarrisCabs #CitadelEnclosures #Canerector

What an incredible day! Last week we celebrated our 60th anniversary event, and we’re overwhelmed with gratitude for everyone who played a role in making this milestone possible. As the sun shone brightly, it was wonderful to connect with so many customers, supplier partners, and special guests from near and far. A heartfelt thank you to Premier Doug Ford and MPP Graham McGregor for taking the time to stop by and engage with our guests. We’ll continue to support jobs and economic growth here at home. To Canerector CEO Amanda Hawkins and Co-President Matt Warden, thank you for speaking. Your words brought depth and inspiration to the event. To our award winners – customers, supplier partners, and long-standing team members alike, your achievements are so well-deserved. Thank you for your unwavering support and tireless efforts. Big thank you to Harveena Sandhu, our event coordinator, and the many team members who contributed to the planning and execution. And special mention to our sister company, DFMZ - Design Filtration Microzone Inc. , whose assistance with preparations at the event played a key role in making it a success. As we reflect on six decades of cab design and manufacturing, we're filled with pride for our past and we’re brimming with excitement for the future. To everyone who has been part of our journey - thank you. Your trust and partnership have been the cornerstone of our success. We’re beyond excited to start the next chapter with you! #HarrisCabs #CitadelEnclosures #Canerector

We’re incredibly honoured the Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford, and MPP Graham McGregor stopped by yesterday as part of our 60th anniversary celebration. Their visit not only recognized our six decades of hard work, but underscored the importance of Ontario’s manufacturing sector. Thank you, Premier Ford, for your kind words at the event, for sharing your time engaging with our guests, and for shining a spotlight on our dedicated team members. We’re committed to supporting jobs and economic growth here in the province!
I was happy to visit Harris-Stopler International’s facility in Brampton to meet their hardworking team and see first-hand how they are directly supporting the construction, mining and manufacturing industries. Thanks for having me by, and congratulations on 60 years!

Our brains are still smoking. This week we combined forces with the team at DFMZ - Design Filtration Microzone Inc. for a 2-day strategy summit. The result? We're buzzing with excitement from the innovative ideas and the collaborative energy that emerged. Fasten your seatbelts and keep an eye on this space. The next 12-24 months are going to be groundbreaking... #HarrisCabs #CitadelEnclosures #Canerector

Fridays are generally the most popular day for bank robberies. Fast getaway vehicles are a must. A 100,000 lb thrust force horizontal directional drill probably wouldn’t be a wise first choice. Lucky for us, we don’t build cabs for getaway vehicles. Though we do dabble in cab solutions beyond just forklifts. Be it mining equipment, cranes, or in this case, Harris cab model 2266. Possibly better suited for getting into a bank, than escaping one. TGIF. Even if it is Friday the 13th. #HarrisCabs #CitadelEnclosures #Canerector
