Impressive programme today at the 2024 National Workforce Summit, hosted by Randy Boissonnault, with ~250 delegates from across the country discussing the critical issues we’re seeing in our communities and industries. As we build our 21st century workforce, #collaboration will be key to supporting the recovery and long-term growth of our sector. I’m encouraged to see both government and industry leaders align on addressing the critical issue of workforce shortages. Great to connect with our Hotel Association of Canada colleagues at the Tourism HR Canada (Philip Mondor) and Tourism Industry Association of Canada, as well as new connections from the Canadian Chamber of Commerce (Diana Palmerín Velasco PhD, MSc, CCIP), Canadian Home Builders' Association National (Emily Fielden), and the Commissioner for Employers, Nancy Healey, ICD.D. Thank you to Minister Boissonnault, Steven MacKinnon, Rechie Valdez, and all who contributed to these important discussions!
