Heartfelt congratulations to #ICESOntario's incredible scientists, Drs. Astrid Guttmann, Hilary Brown, and Andi Camden, on being awarded $970,000 from the Public Health Agency of Canada! The newly funded project “Pan-Canadian Perinatal Opioid Use Surveillance System” will monitor perinatal opioid use and treatment and investigate its impact on maternal and child health over time. This will be the first and largest federally funded data platform to identify all mother and infant pairs affected by perinatal opioid use and treatment and to monitor their health outcomes and access to care over time.
