SOLUTIONS IN THE WILD! Impact member Curtis travelled to Northern Ontario last week, and while there he saw this awesome installation of a #Gatorlink PoE extension system by Fiber Connections Inc. This particular deployment was a control panel for a secured parking lot, which provided PoE to a Cameras, Gate Access, and an Intercom. FCI's Chameleon System combines the GatorLink units with Hybrid Cable, to provide reliable 90W (PoE 802.3bt) to devices well beyond the traditional 90 meter distance limitation of PoE. Unlike some other solutions in the industry, Chameleon + GatorLink is completely standards compliant.
