Our state-of-the-art photobioreactors (PBRs) are designed to streamline algae cultivation with automated nutrient dosing. Featuring an automated nutrient delivery system, these photobioreactors eliminate the need for manual media addition, offering a hands-free operation for optimal algae growth. Each algae bioreactor is equipped with three peristaltic pumps. These pumps handle nutrient delivery automatically, ensuring precise and consistent application. For example, using the commercially available Guillards (F/2) formula that would work out to be: - Peristaltic pump #1: Part A trace minerals and elements. - Peristaltic pump #2: Part B nitrate, phosphate, and vitamins. - Paristaltic pump #3: If you are growing a diatom this would be your silica solution, or can be customized depending on your requirements. The formulas are added separately from the water so you can control the ratios and modify the parameters for any species of algae. Did you know that Rhodomonas is a great food source for oysters? 🦪 This species of algae, with medium-sized cells, is a fascinating organism that presents a reddish (pink in our eyes) color. The size of these cells makes them the perfect food source for young oysters, as they are rich in essential nutrients that play a crucial role in supporting their metabolism and providing the energy needed for their rapid growth. Cultivating and growing Rhodomonas algae is a complex task, as it is susceptible and requires meticulous attention to several key factors, such as temperature, light, nutrients, mixing and aeration, and pH control. The role of our PBR automatization is crucial to meet all these elements, as it has advanced features like temperature control, light management, pH monitor and control automatization, and constant aeration of the culture. Did you know that you can cultivate diatoms in our Photobioreactors? In this video, we explain how Industrial Plankton photobioreactors play a critical role in successfully cultivating and harvesting diatoms. 🌱 Manual cultivation of #diatoms can be challenging due to their rapid growth rate, which often leads to crashes. The automated system in our Photobioreactors can help prevent these crashes in diatoms by keeping nutrients replete, monitoring density, and matching growth rates. Watch to learn more about how these automated systems in our photobioreactors allow the successful cultivation and harvesting of diatoms. 👇 . . . #AlgaeTech #photobioreactor #AquacultureInnovation #algaepower #innovation
