🐝 We’re buzzing with excitement at the Platreef Project’s New Horizon Apiary, where our first honey harvest has been a resounding success! This apiary initiative, with its current 43 hives, is dedicated to promoting biodiversity. As the bees increase their activities during the warmer months, we anticipate a larger yield for our sustainable honey production. We're always looking for ways to improve our business. The Project 95 initiative is designed to improve recoveries thereby reducing the amount of unrecovered copper going into tailings at Kamoa-Kakula. Currently the copper grade of the tailings is 0.75%cu - higher that the 2023 global average of 0.63%, according to BMO. Project 95 requires an extension to the Phase 1 & Phase 2 processing plant, which will increase annual copper production by ~30,000 tonnes. 👏
