Meet Tanya Caissie! Our newest bilingual consultant at JMC! Originally from Edmundston, NB, Tanya’s journey has taken her across the country, but fate—and JMC—finally brought her back to Moncton in 2021. Her career kicked off with a psychology degree and an MBA from U de M, after which a “temporary” move to Calgary turned into a decade-long love affair with the West. She also made a Montreal pit stop before returning back to Calgary, but eventually landed back home in New Brunswick with the help of Maggie Rogers, who placed her back at her alma mater! Outside of work, her Sundays are dedicated to meal prep or rather, “Soup Sundays,” where she meal-preps and makes her family’s week a little warmer, all while taking Lola, her Australian Labradoodle, for some fresh air. She is making healthy food choices as of late in an effort to feel her best. However, she did share that she makes a wicked pancetta carbonara, and that poutine was once “part of her existence.” But there’s more to Tanya than project planning and poutine ! She has a hidden passion for karaoke, sparked by a Mother’s Day gift to herself: a Tricks karaoke machine. Armed with classic tunes like Here I Go Again on My Own and Don’t Stop Believin’, she can turn any evening into a sing-along spectacle (with a little help from her neighbour). Just make sure if you stop by her house, you tuck her dining room chairs back in after use as this is her strange pet peeve. 🤫 Tanya brings a unique mix of experience, heart, and maybe even a karaoke playlist to our team, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome her! From candidate to partner to teammate, Tanya has worked with JMC in every capacity. She plans on using this experience in her work with others on projects that excite her, including anything that contributes to a better future for her clients and their organizations. With her senior-level expertise in HR consulting, compensation, succession planning, and coaching senior leadership—along with her bilingual skills—Tanya is set to significantly impact our team and our clients.
