PT Redpath Indonesia’s I Made Pasek, General Superintendent at UG Grasberg Block Cave (GBC) Mine, presented a collaborative paper with PT Freeport Indonesia on “Safe and Sustainable Production: A Deep Dive into the GBC Mine's Extraction Level Journey,” at the international conference MassMin 2024 in Kiruna, Sweden, in September. Today marks Canada’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This day honours the lost children and survivors of residential schools, their families, and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools in Canada is a vital component of the reconciliation process. Redpath encourages our employees to reflect on the significance of this day. An orange, Every Child Matters flag is flying at half-mast in front of our head office, to encourage our employees and our community to reflect on and build awareness of the painful impact of residential schools. _____________________________ Aujourd’hui, au Canada, nous reconnaissons la Journée nationale de la vérité et de la réconciliation.
