We’re pleased to advise a new three-year mining services contract has been signed with Redpath Australia. Signed on Monday 30 September, the agreement will see Redpath integrated into operations at Federation until late 2027. The contract covers ongoing mine development and production activities including underground paste reticulation and run-of-mine management. The Redpath team at our Federation Mine has demonstrated resolve and dedication to help build the Mine from a greenfield site to a high-grade zinc, lead and gold underground operation. Our Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Bryan Quinn spoke about the execution of the contract in a story on our website. “I want to take this time to thank the Aurelia and Redpath teams who have worked on the execution of this contract and look forward to many more productive years together with Redpath at Federation,” Bryan said. Today marks Canada’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This day honours the lost children and survivors of residential schools, their families, and communities. Public commemoration of the tragic and painful history and ongoing impacts of residential schools in Canada is a vital component of the reconciliation process. Redpath encourages our employees to reflect on the significance of this day.
