We’re excited to share significant progress on our Stage 3 Expansion, marking a major step forward in our growth journey: 💰 Investment Update: Both the Stage 3 and 4 Expansions are Fully Financed from existing cash, cash flow and credit facilities. 📈 Strong Progression: 57% of the growth capital has already been spent or committed as of July 31, 2024. All process plant long-lead item contracts have been awarded on a fixed price basis (excluding freight). 🎯 Key Milestone: We’ve awarded the largest package—the 1.2 mtpa Stage 3 Process Plant—on a lump-sum fixed price basis to GR Engineering Services Limited, significantly de-risking the project. ➡️ Looking Ahead: We’re targeting the start of commissioning for the 1.2 mtpa Process Plant in the second half of Q2 2025. In 2023, #K92Mining took significant steps to support local infrastructure through the Government of PNG’s Infrastructure Tax Credit Scheme (ITCS). This program allows resource companies to allocate up to 2% of their assessable income, which is then deducted from future tax payable, to invest in community infrastructure projects. To date, we've committed $6.6M to the program. After extensive consultations with local communities and planning authorities, we prioritized upgrading the road from Konkua to Bilimoia. This crucial project will enhance road safety and improve connectivity between Bilimoia, Kainantu, and the Highlands Highway. We’ve also strengthened our External Affairs and Sustainable Development team, hiring additional staff to implement this project and build capacity for future infrastructure, health, and education initiatives. These efforts are key to addressing health, educational, and public infrastructure needs. #CommunityDevelopment #SustainableMining
