Better Humans. Better Leaders.
About us
We provide non-directive coaching to leaders in the 'for-profit', 'not-for-profit' and 'charity' sectors. We see coaching as a vital component for leaders and organisations who want to succeed and reach beyond the confines of what might be expected in order to reach their goals. Our coaching offers a perfect blend of support and challenge, inviting our clients to step into the future that they want to create, now. Through our non-directive approach we will journey with you, helping you assess where you are and get to where you want to be. We will work with you to put in place the best strategies, processes and practices that will take you to the next level. We offer 1-1 coaching, team and group coaching, 360-feedback coaching, transitional coaching, conflict management & resolution, and strengths recognition, understanding and deployment. In addition, we offer half day or full day Core Strengths Total SDI (Strengths Deployment Inventory) workshops. In these workshops and the subsequent coaching sessions, we help people understand how their motives drive their behaviours and how these change in various situations. We also help develop a better understanding of the motives and behaviours of others, driving stronger relationships and healthier teams.

I started reading Tony Blair’s (former Prime Minister of the UK) new book 'On Leadership - Lessons for the 21st Century'. In it, he makes a critical observation: "For the person at the top, there is a difference between being a leader and leadership. Or certainly a difference between being 'A Leader' and merely the person occupying the position of leader." This distinction is everything. Holding a title doesn’t make someone a leader! #Leadership #TonyBlair #OnLeadership

In today's dynamic business environment, fostering a coaching culture isn't just a nice-to-have—it can be a game-changer for organizational performance! Here are some compelling benefits of cultivating an effective coaching culture: 1. Enhanced Employee Engagement: When employees receive regular coaching or when their leaders take a coach approach to their leadership, they can feel valued and supported. This can boost their engagement, leading to higher job satisfaction and retention rates. 2. Improved Performance and Productivity: Coaching can help employees set clear goals and provide the tools and strategies needed to achieve them. This results in improved individual and team performance, driving overall productivity. 3. Continuous Learning and Development: A coaching culture can promote a growth mindset. Employees are encouraged to learn, develop new skills, and continuously improve, which keeps your organization competitive and innovative. 4. Better Communication and Collaboration: Effective coaching fosters open communication and trust. It encourages collaboration across teams, breaking down silos and enhancing teamwork. 5. Stronger Leadership Pipeline: Coaching helps identify and nurture future leaders within organizations. It equips potential leaders with the self awareness, skills and confidence needed to take on greater responsibilities and have greater influence. 6. Increased Adaptability: In a coaching culture, employees are more adaptable to change. They are better equipped to handle challenges and embrace new opportunities with a positive attitude. Implementing a coaching culture is an investment in an organization's greatest asset—its people. It creates a supportive environment where everyone can thrive and contribute to shared success, securing its future and success. Let's create a culture where growth and excellence are the norm! #CoachingCulture #EmployeeEngagement #LeadershipDevelopment #OrganizationalPerformance #ContinuousImprovement

It’s been a busy past week for our coaches at Kairos Coaching Group, as we ran our first Core Strengths Public Workshop. Investing in people is what we thrive in doing. Helping people become better. Helping teams become more effective. Helping leaders become more self-aware, as well as highlighting the value of their team members. A great time serving members of Active Communities (Scotland) , Virgin Money Intermediaries , Church of the Nazarene, JMAC Fitness and Bridge Christian Fellowship. If you are interested in how we can serve you and your team to become more relationally intelligent, then get in touch and we can arrange an exploration call. #betterhumans #betterleaders #corestrengths

Overwhelmed? Are you often drowning in a sea of tasks, emails, appointments and responsibilities? Are you constantly overwhelmed by the sheer volume of things you need to do? If so, you're not alone. Many people struggle with feelings of overwhelm in today's fast-paced world. I, too, find myself there from time to time. However, I found a solution for myself: the Full Focus Planner. The Full Focus Planner is a productivity tool that has helped me organize my tasks, prioritize my goals, and stay focused on what matters most. With its structured layout and goal-setting framework, the planner provides me with a systematic approach to managing my time and energy effectively. Here's how the Full Focus Planner has helped me mitigate feelings of overwhelm: 1. Clear Goal Setting: The planner prompts me to set clear, achievable goals for different areas of my life, such as career, health, relationships, and personal growth. By defining what I want to accomplish, I can eliminate ambiguity and focus my efforts on the most important tasks. 2. Weekly Planning: Each week, the planner allows me to map out my schedule, identify key tasks, and allocate time for important activities. By breaking down my goals into manageable steps and scheduling them into my week, I ensure that I make progress without feeling overwhelmed. 3. Daily Rituals: The planner encourages me to establish daily rituals that help me stay focused and productive. These rituals can include activities such as morning journaling, setting priorities and intentions for the day, and reflecting on my progress in the evening. Incorporating these rituals into my routine creates a sense of structure and stability in my day. 4. Focused Work Sessions: With designated blocks of time for focused work, the Full Focus Planner helps me avoid distractions and make the most of my productive hours. By setting aside dedicated time for deep work, I accomplish more in less time and reduce the feeling of being overwhelmed by an endless to-do list. 5. Regular Reviews: The planner includes built-in mechanisms for regularly reviewing my goals, progress, and priorities. By taking time to reflect on what's working well and what needs adjustment, I course-correct as needed and prevent overwhelm from derailing my efforts. https://lnkd.in/gqChR7E7 How do you manage overwhelm?

Part 2: Have you chosen your word for 2024? Our coach Samantha MacKinnon talks about her word for this year - growth and tells us a little bit about what it means for her. 🎯 Choosing one word to focus on that you can apply throughout all areas of your life is easier than having multiple new year resolutions. 🎆 One word can give you meaning, passion and purpose 😍 Have some fun with your one word Give it a go!
