We tremendously enjoyed yesterday's Aboriginal Futures Career & Training Centre's Fall Job Fair. Special thanks to Women Building Futures inviting our team. The partnership with Women Building Futures is incredible. Our combined team at the Fall Job Fair thoroughly educated many job seekers on the rewards of professional trucking and the necessary steps to entering the industry. Last month, Calgarians pulled together for the Calgary Food Bank's City-Wide Food Drive. As usual, Light Speed Logistics Inc. contributed two trucks at the busiest church donation hub. Thanks to our drivers volunteering their time for this worthwhile cause. While Light Speed has quietly supported this event for over ten years, we are recently placing spotlight on this project, to encourage further volunteering and donations. Every action is impactful. Thank you everyone!

Light Speed was pleased to heavily contribute at the recent Professional Truck Training Alliance of Canada's Red Seal Round Table, in Calgary/Alberta. Congratulations to PTTAC Canada for pulling together a broad and well-rounded representation of truck driving schools, truck fleets (carriers), government, insurance and the general driving industry. Thank you to the Alberta Government's Transportation and Economic Corridors and Alberta Advanced Education for insightful presentations, transparency, and keen interest to engage and partner with industry. Our Light Speed Driving Academy Inc. and Light Speed Logistics Inc. companies will continue advising and supporting not only the Red Seal movement in Alberta, but also just as importantly the underlying commitment of continual, improved safety and compliance for both truck driving schools and the carriers hiring from these truck driving schools. The future is looking bright with upgrades, improvements and innovations for Alberta's truck driving school sector.

Light Speed had an incredible experience participating in the Women Building Futures "In the Drivers Seat" info session for women highly interested in the professional truck driving career. Last week's event included climbing into the truck, getting up close to the equipment and classroom presentations. It was a pleasure to deeply partner with Women Building Futures on this event. Incredible thanks to Alberta Motor Transport Association for hosting and championing this initiative. Onsite we had full team representation from both Light Speed Logistics Inc. and Light Speed Driving Academy Inc. Jasmine Kaur, Prabhjeet kaur Gill and Miles Robert (Rob) Aronson shared many insights about driving, logistics and supply chain. Our instructors Harry and Rami shared their expertise and the students really enjoyed learning the nuances of both truck features and driving safety. We are looking forward to the next "In the Drivers Seat" event!
