October 10th is World Mental Health Day!🧠💚 This year's theme is "Mental Health at Work." With so much of our day spent at work, it's crucial that work promotes and protects our mental health. This day provides an opportunity for individuals to talk about the relationship between their mental health and work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for everyone. #WorldMentalHealthDay #WorldMentalHealthDay2024 #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters

October is Health Literacy Month! ❤️🩹🩺🍎💊 Health literacy is defined as the ability to access, comprehend, evaluate, and communicate information as a way to promote, maintain, and improve health in a variety of settings across the life-course. Happy International Literacy Day! 🎉 Since 1967, September 8th has been celebrated as International Literacy Day to highlight the importance of literacy in creating a fair, just, and peaceful society. Literacy is more than just reading and writing. It can also include managing our finances, navigating the internet, and critically engaging with various forms of media. There are many types of literacy, and it's a spectrum for everyone. We use literacy skills in our daily lives to pursue our passions, expand our knowledge, and reach our aspirations. Literacy is a human right, and everyone should have the opportunity to develop the skills needed to lead a fully engaged life.
