The M.D.’s Community Action Grant (CAG) and the Donations, Sponsorship, and Recognition programs have been fully funded for 2024. Due to the success of the programs, the October CAG application intake has been cancelled. “It’s great to see the community accessing and using these funds,” said Reeve Barry Kalinski. “It really shows our non-profit groups are doing a lot of work that benefits the region.” The Community Services Department will continue to accept applications and requests for donations of in-kind and promotional items for the remainder of 2024.
