It's been a busy start to the year for MEDIAPRO Canada's fleet of mobile units and our engineers. Last night our multiformat HD mobile Eclipse was at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale with engineers Rodney and Ben to provide broadcast services for Mediapro U.S.'s production of an international club friendly between two giants of Latin American football: Peru's Club Universitario de Deportes vs Club Atlético Nacional Oficial of Colombia, with live coverage aired on GOLPERU and Win Sports. Before that, Rodney and Ben were out on the west coast with our 53' 1080p HDR-capable unit Alto to provide broadcast services for Mediapro U.S.'s productions of a pair of NCAA Men's Division 1 college basketball games: Colorado Buffaloes vs California Golden Bears at Haas Arena in Berkeley, followed by Portland Pilots vs Saint Mary's Gaels just down the road in Moraga. More international soccer and NCAA basketball to follow!

REMI (Remote Integration Model) production is becoming standard for live sports events in North America and MEDIAPRO Canada is at the forefront, with our entire fleet of mobile units equipped with the technology and several years under our belt of providing REMI production for sports events across the country. Today, we had five cameras and a dozen crew in Kingston, ON, working through our REMI-capable 53' HD mobile unit Alto, with the video and audio signals sent back to our central control room in Mississauga where it was all switched, mixed and transmitted to our partners USports, CBC Sports and TVA Sports. #REMI #remoteintegration #livesports #productionworkflow #sportsproduction
