Migraine Canada
Non-profit Organizations
Improving the lives of Canadians with migraine & headache disorders through advocacy, awareness, support & education.
About us
Experts estimate that 12% of Canadians (4.5 million) live with migraine. Migraine Canada is a national federally registered charity, focused on optimizing the quality of life for Canadians with migraine and other headache disorders, by ensuring that they are diagnosed, treated and supported. We are committed to developing credible, valuable and relevant resources including information, tools and activities to support and educate those who live with, are impacted by, or provide care for migraine and headache disorders. Through our advocacy initiatives, we amplify the community’s voice, working with federal and provincial government bodies to improve access to, and quality of healthcare and support for migraine. We work to communicate facts to employers, educational institutions and the general public to increase awareness and reduce the stigma faced by those living with migraine. We support research initiatives that align with our mission and foster and facilitate a supportive community of and for those living with migraine and headache disorders.
