I always love coming to the Financial Crime Enforcement conference in Washington, DC brought to you by the good folks at the American Bankers Association. The outstanding team from Nasdaq Verafin was here as a part of the hundreds of folks gathered, each one playing a smaller part in service of something greater. For us, that greater good is powering economic progress for all and that oniy comes from safe and equitable access to the financial system. And while that is a lofty goal and the work is serious business, we enjoy it. Working to solve check fraud, payments fraud, and mule detection alongside debates ranking the four Jaws films … I live for this. My final thoughts on the Jaws series … … Jaws is a perfect film, but Jaws 2 is a better popcorn flick. But no matter your ranking … Jaws: The Revenge is simply the worst. My teammates- Brad May, Cory Park, Cara Cameron, Anna Gosine, and Amanda Dunn, CAMS - cannot be ranked. All tied for best in class.
