🎶 I am grateful that I had the privilege to attend the 'Music of NATO' concert last Saturday, an event hosted by the NATO Association of Canada. The evening was filled with incredible performances by the Royal Regiment of Canada Band, showcasing a beautiful blend of musical pieces from NATO member countries. The experience reminded me of the power of cultural diplomacy and how music can bring people together across different cultures. Each piece connected us in a unique way, showing that music truly can speak louder than words. The hour flew by, and I left feeling inspired. A big thank you to Robert Baines for the invitation. I also had the pleasure of meeting and connecting with some amazing NATO Association of Canada interns and international diplomats, whose enthusiasm made the evening even more enjoyable. Special congratulations to Arjun Singh Yanglem for organizing such a great event!

On October 18th, the NATO Association of Canada, in collaboration with Women in International Security Canada, hosted an impactful event in Ottawa: "Shaping Canada's Future: Women Leaders in Business and Security." The evening featured insightful discussions led by an impressive panel of leaders, including LGen Lise Bourgon, Dr. Stefanie von Hlatky, Ambassador Kerry Buck and Ms. Cara Salci. Key discussions revolved around advancing gender equality within the security landscape, drawing from Canada's experiences and NATO partners, with a special focus on current global challenges like the Ukraine conflict. Panelists explored innovative strategies for overcoming barriers, achieving greater gender parity, and promoting inclusive leadership in traditionally male-dominated fields. A huge thank you to our esteemed panelists, attendees, Jake Rooke for helping organize this event and everyone who made this event a success. #NATO #NATOAssociationofCanada #WomenInLeadership #GenderEquality #Business #Security #Womenpeaceandsecurity ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow the NATO Association of Canada on social media or visit our website to learn more about our future events: website: https://lnkd.in/gaAyp3PK YouTube: @ NATOCanada/ LinkedIn: @ NATO Association of Canada/ Instagram: @ NATO_Canada / Facebook: @ NATO Association of Canada/ Platform X: @ NATOCanada
