Last week was Direct Support Professionals Recognition Week, but we are still celebrating! 🎉 On September 12, a meet-and-greet with Minister Nahanni Fontaine was held to recognize the important work of DSP’s here in MB. There was also a round table discussion about the current successes and challenges within the community and sector. Three staff from New Directions attended, as well as many other DSPs from around MB. Thank you all for your important work, and to Minister Fontaine for officially proclaiming the second week of September as DSP Recognition Week. #DSPWeek
