What happens after the votes are cast in November? With shady characters already preparing to sow doubt and chaos, and the possibility that results could take days (weeks?) to finalize, how we show up on Day 1 after the election is critical. https://hubs.li/Q02Sg1gD0

The November election is likely to be contested and otherwise challenged by anti-democratic forces. As several reputable news outlet have pointed out, there is a network of actors working to ensure the results are delayed or otherwise put into question. I'm helping to host a livestream with leading strategists to chart the best way to respond to various election scenarios. I think it's very important to have broad alignment in this upcoming historical moment. Join the livestream if you want to join the conversation or learn more. Here's more about the current participants of the livestream. These are the exact people I personally want to hear from on this issue. *Maurice Mitchell, Working Families Party - One of the most widely respected political organizers/strategists in the world. Someone I've learned a great deal from following. * Mike Podhorzer, Center for American Progress - Time Magazine calls him the architect of response to 2020 that saved the election. I've been an avid reader of his Weekend Reading newsletter for years and it's significantly shaped our work at New/Mode *(Moderator) Vanessa Serna, Amnesty International - A recognized leader and trainer in digital strategy. She's held senior roles at Green Peace, Stand.Earth, Caring Across Generations and SEIU 1021. I'll post a link to RSVP in the comments.
