On September 20th, we were proud to sponsor and help organize a charity golf tournament in support of Wounded Warriors Canada ! We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible support we received in raising funds for this important cause. We set out with a goal to reach $10,000 and we far exceeded that reaching $24,681.24!   A massive thank you to our sponsors, donors, volunteers, and every single golf participant who made this event such a success. Today, we observe Truth and Reconciliation Day in Canada, a time to reflect on the history and legacy of residential schools and to honor the survivors and their families. Military service is something that has been a big part of my family's history. My Grandfather (picture below) served in Korea and I have several uncles who were part of Desert Storm and many other peacekeeping missions with our armed forces. So it was such an honour to have the opportunity to participated on behalf of SailPoint in a charity golf event hosted by NewFound Recruiting in support of Wounded Warrior Project this past Friday. This also happened to be Army Run weekend. While I didn't participate this year it is one of my favourite running events ever. I have competed several times as a guide runner for visually impaired veterans (even winning the 5k one year!!). The chills you get at the start line of the Army Run, lining up beside some of our Nation's bravest is incomparable. As we approach Rememberance Day this year don't forget to grab a poppy and pay tribute to those that gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

Exciting news! Newfound Recruiting has joined Environment and Climate Change Canada's Net Zero Challenge to cut our carbon emissions to zero by 2050. Here's the scoop:  1. Cutting Emissions: We're on a mission to slash our greenhouse gases and find cool ways to hit our 2050 target.  2. Teamwork and Innovation: We're teaming up with like-minded folks and brainstorming fresh solutions to tackle this challenge together.  3. Staying Transparent: We’ll keep you in the loop with regular updates on our progress and what we’re learning along the way.    We’re thrilled to be part of this global effort and are committed to leading by example.
