Ontario's colleges are dedicated to helping address the growing healthcare needs of our population. Collège La Cité's new program, Techniques d'Imagerie par Résonance Magnétique, starting in September 2025, is the first French-language program focusing specifically on MRI technology. This program's graduates will be able to support French and English patients, helping to ease the pressure on #Ontario's taxed #healthcare system. Congratulations, La Cité! We can't wait to celebrate your first graduating class. #FrenchLanguageProgram #French #HealthcareCrisis Health | Santé

Ontariocolleges.ca, powered by OCAS, is proud to be a platinum sponsor of this year's Ontario College Fair (OCF). Happening October 16-17 in Toronto, this event is an opportunity for us and the colleges to connect with the broader public. We enjoy meeting with prospective applicants, answering questions about the application process, and sharing why college is an excellent choice for postsecondary opportunities. The OCF also lets our ontariocolleges.ca team share some of the lesser-known – but very exciting – developments at the colleges, such as: - Opportunities to participate in applied research projects - The growing demand for skills-based training - New programs that prepare students for skilled trades careers - The expanding range of college degrees available Additionally, we're hosting "How to Apply for College" information sessions to answer questions about the application process. #OCF2024 #OntarioColleges #OntarioCollegeFair #PostsecondaryEducation

Today, we'd like to share another #Throwback with you, highlighting a big win for the OCAS team earlier this year. *** Introducing the Ontario Attestation Letter Service! In January 2024, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada announced a cap on new international students in Canada. As a result, OCAS was chosen by Ontario’s Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) to build a solution to handle Ontario’s college allotment of provincial attestation letters (PAL) – now mandatory for international students applying for a student visa. What our team created is an accessible service for our public colleges to upload PAL requests and monitor their allocations of PALs in an efficient, centralized way. We’re proud to be a part of this solution and are excited to see its adoption by the colleges. If you’d like to learn more about PALs and the Ontario Attestation Letter Service, visit https://ow.ly/p2zt50Rk68X.
