Today marks World Mental Health Day. Working with a naturopathic doctor is an effective way to support whole person health, including your mental health. 

On Nov 2, I'll be speaking to fellow clinicians at OANDCon24 about a subject that I love researching, learning, thinking, and talking about: polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). This multifaceted and multifactorial condition is near and dear to me as someone with PCOS and as a practitioner with a clinical focus on periods and PCOS. I'll be discussing the latest research including the utility of AMH testing that's part of the updated assessment guidelines, when to use myo- vs. a combo with d-chiro-inositol, commonly used medications, and language to facilitate the nuanced (and real!) conversations we have with our patients, especially in this era of misinformation and polarization.
