🤝This week, WEL Victoria volunteered with the 1 UP Single Parent Resource Centre. 🏠1 UP Single Parent Resource Centre is a Victoria based organization supporting single parents. Currently, they have a school supply drive underway and need help preparing delivery packages. The WEL Victoria team prepared 200 hygiene packages and 200 school supply packages. They had a great time learning about the organization and contributing to a meaningful cause! We are looking for someone who has: 📈 Professional leadership and operational business experience with an entrepreneurial orientation and growth mindset 💵 Success in sourcing and securing program and organizational funding from corporate sponsors, government grants and/or other funding sources 🤝 Experience leading or working in a volunteer based organization, motivating, optimistic, and professional attitude and strong communication skills 🚀 Experience in working with the startup ecosystem: in an angel fund, a fundraising organization, an incubator or as an entrepreneur - would be an asset This role can be remote from anywhere in Canada. The salary range is $100K-$125K/year. I count myself as one of the lucky few who have been able to do exactly this. As a Naturopathic Physician turned tech-entrepreneur, having the opportunity to build and now scale Ginger Desk has truly been the honour of my lifetime. After launching Ginger Desk back from my own health clinic and then bootstrapping our company for over three years, I'm so incredibly proud of all that we've accomplished. With this raise, we are expanding and automating our tech platform which will allow us to serve our practitioners better than ever.
