We built Ontario. And we’ll stand up for it. From the roads we drive on to the schools our children learn in—it all starts with stone, sand, and gravel. The strength of this country is built—quite literally—on the stone, sand, and gravel our members provide. We remain united and strong. Stand with Ontario, and with the people who built this great province. 🎥 Watch the video. 📣 Share if you believe in Canadian-built. www.buildingontario.com #BuiltInOntario #KeepItCanadian #StandUpForOntario#OSSGA

Happy World Water Day! 🌊💧 Did you know pits and quarries in Ontario use less than 2% of the water taken in the province and more than 90% of this water is returned to the watershed. As an industry, we recognize the vital role water plays in the communities where we operate and our responsibility to manage it effectively. Aggregate producers are dedicated water managers, accountable to the public and government, ensuring that water quality and quantity are protected in private wells and the surrounding environment. On this World Water Day, let's acknowledge the efforts of aggregate operators who prioritize responsible water management—meeting and exceeding industry standards while contributing to the preservation of our precious water resources.

From Gravel Pit to Parkland! 🌿 The Bronze Plaque site, Wasaga Sands, showcases the power of creative land reclamation and its impact on the community. Nestled in the scenic landscapes of Wasaga Beach, Ontario, the Wasaga Sands Community has a truly rich history. Formerly an essential aggregate operation supporting local infrastructure, the site has since been transformed to many uses over the years, including a golf course community. The Wasaga Sands property provided material for vital community projects in Wasaga Beach and nearby Collingwood, including: 🏗️ Schooner Town Bridge 🏗️ Libbey Owens Ford (LOF) plant Learn more: https://lnkd.in/e9yB9jSw Seeley And Arnill Construction
