Either way, welcome! Our Healing Connection merges my passion for psychotherapy with a robust scientific background where my goal is to nurture wellness for all. With expertise in trauma-informed care and a commitment to promoting safety and empowerment, my approach is tailored to the unique needs of diverse adults in Ontario. My unique background and training as a researcher, scientist and social worker and lived experience in both Middle Eastern and North American cultures allows me to bridge cultural gaps and foster understanding, recovery and healing within diverse environments for people from all walks of life. The synthesis of my social work and scientific research equips me with a distinctive evidence-based perspective and clinical practice on mental health, particularly for issues pertaining immigrants and families. My dedication is reflected in my client-centered and strength-based interventions and the cultivation of safety by empowering individuals in their healing journeys. With a commitment to social justice and an anti-oppressive lens, I strive to illuminate paths toward recovery and personal wellness. I believe counselling and psychotherapy is a process of exploration, collaboration and connection based on your individual needs and goals and offer individualized mental health support in English and Turkish.
