  • It's #NationalInfectionControlWeek, a time to remind everyone about the importance of infection prevention and control (IPAC) and celebrate the work done by our dedicated IPAC team whose efforts help keep staff, residents, and families safe every day!  To recognize the week, Sama Sajed, IPAC Lead for Wellbrook Place East, shares her experience in a #PeopleofPCH story. “As the IPAC lead, my mission is clear, and it drives every aspect of my work. From developing and implementing infection prevention strategies to training staff on best practices, I’m committed to creating a safer environment for residents, families, visitors and our team.” #PeopleofPCH is a series that highlights the diverse stories of staff, residents, and families across Partners Community Health (PCH).  Read Sama’s full story on the website: https://lnkd.in/eVWAVv-G

  • Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Partners Community Health! 🦃🧡 This year, residents at Wellbrook Place took part in a special tradition by creating beautiful turkeys that represent what they are thankful for. Each feather shares a heartfelt message, expressing their gratitude. Our leadership and programs teams also joined in the celebration by adding their own feathers. As we gather to give thanks, let’s cherish the connections and moments that make us grateful. What are you thankful for this year? Share with us in the comments! Wishing everyone a warm and joyful Thanksgiving! 🧡

  • It was an honor to join ICNA Sisters for the flag-raising ceremony at Celebration Square in recognition of Islamic History Month this past Sunday. We extend our deepest gratitude to ICNA Sisters for their incredible generosity and charitable gift to Partners Community Health. This donation will help PCH to provide essential supports that enhance the quality of life for residents at Wellbrook Place and seniors in our community through our Integrated Seniors Hub. Aligned with the ICNA Sisters monthly theme of ‘Health and Healing’, this initiative will make a tangible difference in residents’ and seniors’ daily lives, allowing them to feel valued, loved, and cherished. 💙

  • Today marks National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, a time to honor and reflect on the experiences of Indigenous peoples, acknowledging the tragic legacy of residential schools, the missing children, and the survivors and families left behind. At Partners Community Health, we are dedicated to the journey of healing and understanding. To commemorate this important day, residents at Wellbrook Place East gathered to listen to a powerful presentation by Sara Call, Environmental Services Manager with Compass Canada, who shared about her story about being Plains Cree, from Treaty 4 from the Peepeekisis reserve in Saskatchewan. Residents also engaged in a meaningful craft session, where they created handprints and t-shirts adorned with words that express their feelings, such as hope, freedom, justice, power, change, and healing. Meanwhile, residents at Wellbrook Place West embraced their creativity by crafting Indigenous-inspired necklaces, honoring the rich heritage and resilience of Indigenous communities. Together, we embrace the journey of reconciliation, fostering understanding and healing for all. 🧡 #EveryChildMatters #OrangeShirtDay #NDTR
