On July 30th, 2024, RadiCare Ventures assisted SafeLink Alberta on its first #Sunalta Community Cleanup. The crew at RadiCare Ventures brought much needed cleanup equipment like garbage cans, picker grabbers, garbage bags, gloves, and more, and RadiCare Ventures staff helped out during the cleaning. Over 15 bags of trash were collected throughout that day. I have been working as a frontline outreach worker with SafeLink Alberta since 2022, when I first graduated high school. I've learned so much through the last two years working at SafeLink Alberta. It certainly is a full-circle moment to be able to have my own ventures contribute back to my first-ever workplace!

This week, SafeLink Alberta proudly hosted a transformative Community Cleanup and BBQ at our Sunalta location, and it was a day to remember! 🌟 A heartfelt thank you to RadiCare Ventures for their incredible support—providing not only their time but also essential tools and supplies, which helped us enhance our neighborhood’s cleanliness and safety. 🛠️🌳 We also want to extend our sincere thanks to Janet Eremenko for joining us during the cleanup. Your presence and enthusiasm added to the day’s success and made a significant impact. 🙌 Beyond the cleanup, this event was about fostering community spirit. We enjoyed sharing delicious food, engaging in meaningful conversations, and building stronger connections with local residents, business owners, and friends. The energy and camaraderie were truly inspiring as we worked together to make a lasting impact in Sunalta. We are honored to be part of such a vibrant community and are excited to see how our collective efforts can enhance our shared spaces and relationships. 🌈💬 These moments reaffirm our commitment to making a positive difference. A big shoutout to everyone who joined us and to RadiCare Ventures for their invaluable contribution. Today I was honored to present @ Innovate Calgary Social Innovation Hub’s breakfast club. It was great telling people about how RadiCare Ventures was started, what were some challenges and learning opportunities on the road, and more. Thank you Chantal Palmer for facilitating the conversation today!

Huge congrats to Bill Zheng and RadiCare Ventures on their first anniversary! 🎉 Former MLA Teresa Woo-Paw introduced us, and I’ve been continually inspired by Bill’s story. At Radicare, they provide opportunities to those facing employment barriers, transforming lives for individuals who otherwise wouldn't have these chances. They also offer innovative solutions for community safety and cleanliness, partnering with organizations to revitalize traumatized, dark spaces. 💚If you or your business/association needs forward-thinking, compassionate services—whether it’s professional cleaning, training and workshops, washroom safety and monitoring, event support, or graffiti removal—please reach out to Bill and his inspiring team at RadiCare Ventures! Things are moving fast for them! Check them out here: https://lnkd.in/gW3HYHtH

A shout out to our supplier RadiCare Ventures for celebrating their one year anniversary. At the event, Radicare employees shared stories and were also recognized for their contributions. Calgary Chinatown BIA has used the services of RadiCare for almost a year and they have provided the community with great cleaning services, graffiti abatement and overall care. This venture was co founded by Bill Zheng who also recently joined the BIA Board. Congratulations!
