About us
Building on a strong tradition of caring and community support, Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation (RCHF) was established in 1978 to raise funds for the hospital’s first CT Scanner. For more than thirty years, the mission of RCHF has been to raise money to help the hospital save lives, restore health and provide comfort to seriously injured and ill patients of all ages. Today, RCHF is an independent charitable organization that raises millions of dollars each year to fund major projects, priority equipment needs, facility enhancements, research, education and innovation at RCH. Thousands of individuals, businesses, community groups and foundations in surrounding communities and across the region provide generous support to help RCHF achieve its vision — to inspire giving and grow funding so patients have access to the best in health care at Royal Columbian Hospital. Charitable Registration Number: 11912 8866 RR0001

October 6-12th is Make a Will Week - a topic that can make some of us uncomfortable. Find out why drafting a will can be life-affirming and how you can leave behind a legacy with a charitable gift. Dorothy Wirth is a legacy gift donor and had this to share, "I can’t tell you how amazing all of the people were. I couldn’t have been in a better place. I think that when we have the opportunity to support our system, it’s very important that we do so others can benefit.” Learn how you can give back: https://loom.ly/AtNLnFE #makeawill #makeawillweek

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and RCH is incredibly thankful for the donors and clinicians who brought the Ventana BenchMark ULTRA to the hospital and the whole Fraser Health region. Thanks to this technology, breast cancer patients waiting to hear back about their HER2 biopsy will only wait days for results, instead of weeks. We will continue to advocate, and raise much needed funds, for transformational care like this. Learn more: https://loom.ly/30apsFU #thankyou #breastcancer #HER2 #october
