Canada's Ultimate Challenge took on Revelstoke Mountain Resort!   We were thrilled to have the opportunity to work with the incredible team from Canada's Ultimate Challenge during their filming last fall. Set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of the most vertical mountain terrain in North America, contestants faced off in a gondola-to-gondola rescue challenge, pushing themselves and their teammates to reach that all-important finale - but not before a huge shake-up throws the remaining players for a loop.   Visit https://lnkd.in/g7zsAN5M to watch the high-suspense episode and find out how participants faired in our exhilarating mountain adventure playground.   About the show Available to watch on CBC, Canada’s Ultimate Challenge is a reality competition series that turns Canada into a giant obstacle course. Five teams compete in spectacular challenges that put their physical and mental skills to the test. Host Brandon Gonez guides viewers through the competition, drama, and eliminations as the Players sweat it out across the country. With plenty of unpredictable twists and turns to stun players, viewers will be kept on the edge of their seats.

From March 10th to 17th, Revelstoke Mountain Resort and Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing welcomed 24 of the world's top freeride snowboarders to Revelstoke to compete for the YETI Natural Selection Tour title. Each competitor had two runs to impress the judges with their creativity, risk, execution, difficulty, and overall performance. The winners from each heat qualified for the men’s quarter-finals and women’s semi-finals, which will be broadcast 'live' on Red Bull TV on April 04th. Absolutely perfect mountain conditions created two days of mind-blowing head-to-head competition with an action-packed week full of events and celebrations, highlighting all the incredible attributes Revelstoke has to offer. Earlier this year, we hosted another successful #ShePatrol event at Revelstoke Mountain Resort. Now in its 4th year, this initiative was created to show young women how they can pursue a career in the ski and outdoor industry while highlighting the growing number of women who already have. 30 young women between the ages of 12 and 18 spent a day mentored by the women of the RMR Ski Patrol team. Participants took part in a full day of scheduled activities, including learning about avalanche blasting, rope rescue techniques, first aid, avalanche dogs, and more! This International Women’s Day, we want to continue to #InspireInclusion and are looking forward to being able to offer this program for years to come, fostering the exciting growth of women in the industry.

"My time with RMR started in Nov 2011. I have been running a snowcat for 20 years in various settings but grooming is still my favorite. I really enjoy the team at RMR, everyone works both individually and yet together to groom the mountain, sometimes in very challenging conditions, and they still come to work with a great attitude every night because they are just excited to work together, run these amazing machines, and work one of the coolest jobs I have experienced!
