We had a great time at our recent Client Appreciation Event, co-hosted by Pointe-Claire Wealth Management Advisors Martin Vandal, Michael Pallone and Claire Churchill-Smith. Over 50 clients and their guests joined us for an evening of gratitude and celebration, enjoying delicious food and engaging conversations to the sound of smooth jazz. The evening featured entertainment including a magician performing close-up illusions, a roaming dessert station and exciting raffle prizes. This event was a wonderful opportunity to thank our valued clients for their trust and celebrate our partnerships. As the evening drew to a close, it was clear that our connections are stronger than ever. We are thankful for everyone who joined us for this special evening!

As we observe Remembrance Day, let us pause to honour the bravery and sacrifice of the men and women of our armed forces, both past and present. Our CEO, Robert Rothenberg, was honored to speak at the Annual Sandler Sales and Leadership Summit. In his keynote presentation 'Begin with an End in Mind,' Robert discussed key themes related to organizational success including goal setting at both the corporate and personal levels, overcoming organizational blind spots, cultivating a culture of accountability and implementing financial best practices. Other industry leaders, including Phil Putnam, Michael S., Chelsea K. and Sandler’s own Hamish Knox and Carrie A Tuttle, also took the stage to share their own leadership, business and sales insights. The presentations led to stimulating conversations, fostering meaningful exchanges between professionals and leaders across various industries. Thank you to Hamish Knox and your team for putting together this great day of knowledge-sharing and learning between bright minds!

Yesterday, the Rothenberg team gathered on Zoom to reflect on the importance of the upcoming National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, observed on Monday, September 30th. The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation serves as a reminder of the painful histories and ongoing impact of residential and day schools on Indigenous peoples. It also presents an important opportunity for all Canadians to engage in our shared responsibility towards healing and reconciliation. In alignment with organizations across the country, our branches will be closed on Monday, September 30th to mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We encourage everyone to take this time to reflect on the importance of reconciliation and to participate in activities that foster understanding, empathy and unity among all Canadians.

We can’t help but reminisce on the sunny success of the 2nd Annual Ben Docktor Memorial Golf Tournament, a fundraising event in support of the upgrades to the Chabad Calgary Campus and various charitable activities. Rothenberg Wealth Management was proud to sponsor a hole at this year’s tournament, with our CEO Robert Rothenberg returning as tournament chair. Our Calgary team members also swapped their business attire for golf gear, hitting the greens for a beautiful day of friendly competition, networking and philanthropy. A heartfelt thank you to the Docktor Family and Chabad Lubavitch of Alberta for this very special event and the work you do to give back and support our community!
