    Watching a game live versus at the stadium feels different, right? Same for Dreamforce & Inbound. So the Topline crew tackled it from both angles-I played the hermit and covered remotely (obv!). We learned something VERY IMP: The era of "AI isn't there yet" is over. Now those saying this are the laggards. Why? Because Salesforce and Hubspot are betting the farm on AI Agents. They are encouraged by the fact that we now have larger multi-modal AI models with PHD level reasoning. This allows us to create AI agents - pieces of software that can achieve complex, multi-step goals that require using various tools. The types of things that humans have traditionally outperformed machines in. Both companies are well positioned for AI Agents. Why? Because they have broad platforms that their customers use to enable and track multiple customer touch points, and this gives them valuable context with which to equip these AI agents. This also minimizes the hallucinations that currently make AI adoption difficult for the enterprise. So both firms feel confident ushering in the era of AI Agents. What does this mean for all of us?     Today is #InternationalEqualPayDay This day shines a spotlight on the ongoing battle for equal pay for equal work, pushing back against all forms of discrimination in the workplace, including discrimination against women. “Far too many workers, especially women, are still paid less than the value of their work. This inequality calls us to collective action. It takes all of us–governments, unions, employers and community advocates–working together to reduce these gaps.” (Honourable Marci Ien, Minister for Women and Gender Equality & Youth) Here’s why it matters: 💰 Closing the Gap - Women globally earn about 16% less than men for the same work  🌐 Economic Boost - Equal pay benefits everyone, adding to the global economy  👭🏽 Empowering Women - Fair wages empower women to invest in their families and communities, driving progress and creating a vibrant and diverse workforce In Canada, women earned 84 cents for every dollar earned by men (Statistics Canada, 2024). While Canada is not the worst in terms of the gender pay gap (looking at you, Korea, at over 31%) it is near the top of the charts in OECD countries. Something must be done. To put this into perspective: the average woman will need to work until April 16, 2025, to have earned what the average man earns this year.
