It was both an honor and a privilege to witness the incredible Snowbirds practice at the Peterborough Airport last Wednesday! ✈️ Not only was their performance awe-inspiring, but they also took the time to join our students for a meet & greet on our private apron, where our student council hosted a BBQ for all. 🍔🔥 Our students had the unique opportunity to engage in 1-on-1 conversations with the Snowbird pilots, explore their aircraft, and ask questions. 🛩️👨✈️👩✈️   What an unforgettable afternoon and invaluable experience for both our students and staff. From April 29 to May 2, representatives from the Seneca School of Aviation attended the World Aviation Training Summit (WATS) in Orlando, Florida. The annual conference brings the best of the industry together to showcase innovations and best practices in training across many sectors of the aviation industry. As a national leader in aviation education 🇨🇦 WATS is an incredible opportunity for the School of Aviation to ensure that we’re continuing to provide exemplary flight training using innovative approaches and the latest technologies the industry has to offer. Following the conference, our Director of Maintenance Jeff Anderson, Aircraft Simulator Technician Steve Blackburn, Chief Flight Instructor Mason Fraser, and Manager of Aviation Partnerships & Innovation Michael Rotondo toured Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach Campus and Epic Flight Academy (New Smyrna Beach, FL).
