About us

The Sled Island Music and Arts Festival is an annual independent multi-venue music and arts festival in Calgary, Alberta. Over the course of five days each June, Sled Island fills the many venues and streets of Calgary with over 200 independent artists, musicians, filmmakers and comedians from across genres and disciplines and attracts nearly 40,000 attendees. The festival is managed by an experienced board, dedicated full-time staff, and benefits from the significant support of over 400 volunteers and numerous local businesses and community organizations.
