The story of Stay22. From an almost death event to 1 BILLION users reached in 2024. Had the pleasure to catch-up with Andrew Lockhead - the co-founder of Stay22 and one of the most resilient entrepreneur I know. His travel content monetization platform has been quietly taking over an entire segment while growing revenues at blazing speed. The story was quite different only a few years ago. Prior to 2020, Stay22's business was focused on powering events and conference organizers with additional revenue streams. They had also raised very little money. The business went to 0 instantly when the pandemic hit. His team quickly pivoted through a series of ideas and tests before setting on the travel content creator space. In this amazing podcast, Andrew recounts the early days of Stay22, the Black Swan events of 2020 and how through grit and determination, him and his team pulled one of the great pivots of the last 10 years.
