On September 24, STEP’s President and CEO, Steve Glanville, along with four other Calgary-based executives, were dropped off at a remote mountain location for the STARS Rescue in the Rockies event! Left with just a cell phone, Steve needed to raise $50,000 to secure his rescue. Thanks to the incredible support from professionals, clients, vendors, family, and friends, Steve not only hit his target—he more than doubled it! Together, you helped raise over $106,000 to support STARS' life-saving services. In total, Steve and the other executives raised over $450,000 for STARS! Steve was also proud to wear the company logos of those who donated over $2500. Thank you for your generous support. Throughout the day, the executives faced challenges designed to put their skills to the test, including: ·        Readiness challenges ·        Safety challenges ·        Aviation challenges ·        Emergency link center & GPS challenges ·        Fundraising challenges These challenges offered a glimpse into the critical work that STARS pilots, nurses, and paramedics perform daily. STARS’ helicopters respond to emergencies 10 times a day across Western Canada, delivering rapid medical attention to those in need, often in remote and rural areas. By supporting Rescue in the Rockies, you help ensure that STARS can continue to be there when lives are on the line, providing the best—or only—chance at survival. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this important cause! #RescueInTheRockies #STARSairambulance #STEPEnergyServices
