The Chief Justice took this opportunity to thank participants for their commitment and to stress the importance of working together to build a more humane and just world: “We each have a duty to care for the most vulnerable and marginalized groups. As global citizens, we have a vested interest in cooperation and collective action towards a shared vision. As leaders, we have a responsibility to facilitate the hard work of the people who are removing barriers to access to justice.”
