🙌Day 1 of The MedTech Conference was full of excitement hearing from so many innovators and industry leaders who are advancing Canadian med tech innovation. 👉Representing the Hamilton life sciences and med tech ecosystem alongside our friends from IDEAWORKS at Mohawk College , McMaster University, Hamilton Economic Development, McMaster Innovation Park and more, we had the opportunity to share all that's happening within our ecosystem with Hon. Minister Victor Fedeli, Minister Nina Tangri and Minister Sylvia Jones following the big announcement from Premier Doug Ford! 📣The government of Ontario announcing a reinvestment of $146 million in the next phase of its 'Life Sciences Strategy,' was definitely the highlight of the day! 🧬This news is incredibly exciting as it will help bring more access to lab spaces and unlock significant investments for future growth, including research, scale-up funds, investment dollars and more.
