We had an amazing time at our annual SGC West staff #golftournament — it was an "un-fore-gettable" day of fun in the sun! We swung our clubs, shared a ton of laughs, and braved the sweltering heatwave like true champions. Despite the blazing temperature, our tournament had it all: jaw-dropping #shots, a few swings and misses (oops!), and a parade of neon and animal print outfits that could have outshone the sun itself. The friendly #competition was fierce, with games, amazing prizes, and delicious food and drinks keeping us going strong. A huge shoutout to our friends at Legacy Equipment for the mouth-watering BBQ and extra spicy Caesar cocktails—they definitely brought the heat (pun intended)! Thanks to The Ranch Golf and Country Club for hosting us once again. Their hospitality, along with the stellar efforts of Krista Bausman and our team of awesome social committee volunteers, made the day unforgettable. We're already counting down the days until next year’s tee-off!

Our team was incredibly proud to attend the official #grandopening and ribbon cutting ceremony for St. Michael's Health Group’s Fenwyck Heights Senior Supportive Living facility in Spruce Grove recently. This project holds special meaning for us, reflecting what has now been more than 15 years of ongoing #partnership with St. Michael's Health Group, and we were fortunate to celebrate with our project team, partners, and #community members. A highlight of the celebration was the generous cheque presentation from Dennis Mozak, Founder and CEO, Synergy Group of Companies, and Laurie Mozak, symbolizing our strong partnership and shared commitment to enhancing #seniorssupportiveliving opportunities in the region. The new Fenwyck Heights offers accessible, supportive living services for seniors in Spruce Grove and the #Alberta Capital Region. This beautifully built, 170-unit residence provides a variety of suite options and amenities, including meals, housekeeping, laundry service, and optional homecare—a true home away from home. We’re honored to support St. Michael’s Health Group in the work they do as a like-minded, community-focused organization whose legacy continues to impact and benefit our local community. We had an amazing time last week gathering with our SGC West team at The Derrick Golf & Winter Club in Edmonton for our annual spring #townhall. We always enjoy sharing updates with our team on our corporate #strategy, recent and upcoming projects, our national operations, and the overall #industry outlook, all while getting the chance to reconnect as a group. The spring weather made the day even better (at least until the rain rolled in!), with our team getting to soak in the view from the patio. It was a fun event as always, and one that left us with a fresh sense of enthusiasm for the year ahead! Looking forward to sharing the same experience with our Morley Hoppner team in #Ottawa this week!

Earlier this month, our SGC West teams were thrilled to be able to celebrate the holiday season once again at The Westin Edmonton! The Casino Royale-themed event, complete with fun money tables, was a smashing success—the perfect way to wrap up an incredible year. The evening featured speeches, a year-in-review video, milestone awards, trivia, and plenty of fun—a welcome opportunity for everyone to come together in celebration and reflect on our achievements and growth over the past year. We're immensely grateful for all the dedicated individuals who’ve been part of the Synergy story—your hard work and dedication have been the driving force behind our continued success. Thank you to everyone who joined us! And a special thanks to Brad Tymchyshyn and Chad Mills for their tremendous efforts organizing such an amazing party, along with our entire SGC West Social Committee for their planning and support. We’re very proud to share that our SGC West team recently came together in community service as part of our inaugural #SynergyCares Day, a company-sponsored #volunteering program that encourages our employees to support organizations doing charitable work in our communities. Through this recently launched program, we encouraged our employees to show up in support of local charitable organizations on December 4 and throughout that week, and were thrilled to see so many of our employees jump into action. Members of our team showed up in support of St. Michael's Health Group (SMHG), a long-standing partner of ours, to help decorate and add some festive touches at their long-term care centre in Edmonton. The very next day, we also had a number of volunteers take on the task of sorting through a staggering 16,000 teddy bears at Santa’s Depot, located in the Jerry Forbes Centre Foundation building. These teddy bears, generously donated by fans of the Edmonton Oil Kings, were gifted in support of 630 CHED Santas Anonymous and their mission of bringing joy to children in need here in Edmonton. A huge shoutout to all of our SGC staff who volunteered their time and energy to make our very first Synergy Cares Day such a success! At SGC, we believe in giving back to the communities in which we live and build, and can’t wait to see the continued and positive impact we’re able to make through this program. #SynergyCares #CommunitySupport #GivingBack #TeamSpirit
