The WASH programme in El Salvador provides vital support for youth health by building clean, safe bathroom facilities in schools, ensuring that children can focus on what is most important — learning. 📚 Thanks to efforts of the Rotary Club San Salvador Maquilishuat, this transformative initiative has already been implemented in 20 schools. Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a 100% volunteer-run organisation on a mission to ensure that no child is without a safe, comfortable place to sleep. Last month, our TELUS Digital team in Las Vegas showed up to #GiveWhereWeLive by fundraising $15,000 and building 61 beds for local children in need of a helping hand. My heartfelt thanks to our team members and the remarkable organisers at Sleep in Heavenly Peace for their commitment to making the #FutureFriendly. 💜

This #PinkShirtDay, I want to celebrate our #TELUSWise volunteers, an amazing group of #UnsungHeroes who have provided free training to more than 800,000 youth, parents and seniors about staying safe and being kind online. Thanks to volunteers like Amanda, a TELUS team member who has personally hosted over 500 workshops since the programme’s inception, we’re helping make the online world a safer, kinder and friendlier place. 🩷
