ICYMI: During interviews for a broader scientific assessment of the Ukraine trauma system, participants organically cited the capabilities and improvements in care that MOVES® SLC™ can provide in enabling Role 1/Role 2 pre-hospital care and en-route care of critically injured patients. “MOVES® SLC™ is already demonstrating utility and there are still additional use cases,” said a Role 2 nurse, referring to its use following a chemical gas event. Read more insights from “The Emergence of MOVES SLC Life-Support System Equipment for En-Route Trauma Care in Ukraine During a Qualitative Assessment”, published recently in Military Medicine, and learn how lessons learned from its use in Ukraine could inform critical care in future large-scale combat operations, here: https://lnkd.in/gGjRbJY4 #Ukraine #criticalcare #enroute #militarymedicine

Thornhill Medical reposted this
In the last couple of weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to engage in the most interesting conversations with colleagues, both long-standing and newly acquainted. This week, I represented Thornhill Medical at the #BestDefence2024 conference in London, where I shared the impact of MOVES® SLC™ in Ukraine and around the world with leaders from the Canadian Defence sector, both government and industry. Being with a like-minded group, committed to providing our service members with the best technology, was both inspiring and motivating. Last week, I was honoured to take part in the "Women Pioneers in Life Sciences" panel discussion hosted by OBIO. Warm thanks to Dr. Maura Campbell for bringing us together and to the audience members for their warm welcome. Again, I walked away inspired and motivated. And what's more, our team represented at #MTC24. Excited to see what the next few weeks bring! Maura Campbell Thornhill Medical Heather Pilot Canadian Armed Forces | Forces armées canadiennes
