On this National Indigenous Peoples Day, we celebrate the rich and distinctively diverse cultures of Indigenous Peoples the stewards of this land since time immemorial, the First Nations, Inuit and Métis. This day is for people across Turtle Island to recognize and acknowledge Indigenous Peoples, their respective cultures and their sovereignty. Each community carries distinct languages, long-practiced values, modern self-determined systems, and relations worthy of acknowledgment and reverence. We are humbled and feel so fortunate to support a number of Indigenous organizations and communities in their journeys of self-determination, sharing traditional practices, and building stronger communities.
