Last week, in its second year, we were thrilled to host another exciting visit from Passos Mágicos to Toronto Business College. Our staff and partners had the opportunity to share their career experiences, inspiring students to reflect on and shape their future aspirations. At Toronto Business College, we believe education is the key to transforming lives and communities. It is a powerful tool for eliminating poverty by equipping individuals with the knowledge and skills to boost their productivity and reduce their social vulnerability. As technology reshapes the workforce, it remains our responsibility to create pathways toward greater equity and a better society. Ultimately, what the youth need most is a chance. Passos Mágicos and their sponsors are providing an incredible opportunity for their students to participate in an overseas immersive program, learn a second language, and understand different cultures and ways of thinking. Experience at Collision 2024 Last week, the Toronto Business College team embarked on an exceptional experience at Collision 2024, a renowned tech conference held in Toronto. The event brought together visionary leaders and entrepreneurs from around the world. We immersed ourselves in cutting-edge technologies that are shaping the future and enjoyed the atmosphere of collaboration, openness, and networking opportunities. We had an exceptional opportunity to attend the inspirational event at Global Startups. Thank you Miryam Lazarte, Juan Pablo Carstens and Marcelle Soldá for inviting us. We were honored to sponsor a I2A2 event at Toronto Region Board of Trade for the Brazilian Delegation, with the support of the Canada Trade Commissioner. Evandro Barros the founder of I2A2 shared an inspiring story about his journey as an immigrant and entrepreneur in Canada, highlighting his innovative spirit in building successful businesses such as DATA H - Artificial Intelligence Inc. , Synkar Autonomous, among others. His story exemplifies resilience, perseverance, and creativity to turn a dream into reality. In the evenings, our team attended engaging networking events organized by BCCC Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce and Meta. Congratulations to Amber Shukla, a semester three Loyalist College in Toronto student studying Global Project Management, on being selected to participate in the prestigious Canada Green Building Council and EGP | Emerging Green Professionals mentorship program. Amber is one of 30 students from across Canada to participate in the program and he will be mentored by Zenon Radewych, Principal, at WZMH Architects & Sparkbird.  As a mentee, Amber will have the opportunity to work on several projects, including the Etobicoke Civic Centre.
