TMMC is Toyota’s vehicle assembly operation in Ontario, Canada. At TMMC, we have three separate production lines: two in Cambridge and one just down the highway in Woodstock. Established in 1988, our 5.4 million sq. ft. facility employs over 8,500 valuable Team Members. Thanks to these Team Members and the Toyota Production System, TMMC is the most awarded plant for quality in the Americas and has produced over 10,000,000 vehicles. Sixteen of our female Team Members attended the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters Women in Manufacturing Forum in Brampton, Ontario. The day’s agenda included a panel discussion on the topic of “Championing Women in Manufacturing”, with TMMC’s Marc Duplessis, Senior Manager, HR, participating. Other topics included Leadership Tools of the Trade, The Next Generation, and inspiring stories by some female leaders in the industry.

TMMC proudly attended rare’s Sustainability Career Expo! This Career Expo gave the future workforce an opportunity to explore careers with an environmental focus and participate in research demonstrations and nature hikes. We connected with students who have a passion for sustainability and engaged in discussions about how TMMC is reducing our environmental impact through the Toyota Environmental Challenge 2050. On September 30th TMMC recognizes the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. We encouraged our Team Members to wear orange to show their support. A group of Team Members also participated in a community activity at Anishnabeg Outreach's Spirit Farm. Thank you to all of the Team Members who participated.

This September a group of passionate TMMC Team Members went to Anishnabeg Outreach's Spirit Farm to participate in United Way Waterloo Region Communities' Day of Caring. Team Members spent the day harvesting sunflowers and corn, rebuilding a fire pit, and learning about United Way Waterloo Region Communities and Anishnabeg Outreach. Thank you to all the Team Members who participated!
