  • Thank you to everyone who joined us last week for United in Conversation hosted by Women United! Together we learned from our incredible panelists about how poverty is rooted in a lack of income and though poverty elimination seems like a complex and challenge issue, solving poverty can largely be as simple as people having more income. Thank you to our panelists, Sharon, Sharon, Dominica and Heather for sharing their experience, knowledge and passion with us all! Interested in taking further action to support poverty elimination in our communities? Here are two ways to take action: 1) Reach out to your MP (It's free) and let them know that you support basic income for all Canadian families: https://bit.ly/4h4QNST 2) Donate to United Way and support our collective action to address homelessness and food insecurity in our community: https://bit.ly/3Ybixwk Thank you to our sponsors Ontario Agricultural College at the University of Guelph and Skyline Group of Companies for their continued support in building thriving communities.
