As National Skilled Trade and Technology Week continues, we thought we’d highlight an individual who’s currently working their way through the trades. Meet Teri-Anna Libby, a fifth term Electrician Apprentice with @IBEW Local 353 currently working towards her Red Seal Certificate. Like many young women, she never considered a career in the trades until she came across it by chance. Now, she’s thriving and absolutely thrilled with her chosen profession. She is also committed to educating parents and schools about the numerous opportunities available in the skilled trades. At Build a Dream, we’re dedicated to empowering women to explore and pursue rewarding paths in these high-demand industries. Through a variety of resources and events, we support career exploration and skill-building for those ready to dream big. From our Career Support Services and Career Discovery Expos to Dreamer Day and the You’re Hired! Roadshow, we provide insight and hands-on experiences that open doors for the next generation of skilled professionals.
