Mike Meekins, our President, was on a panel last week at the Alts x Alts conference in Calgary. The 2nd edition of the Alts x Alts conference took the show to Western Canada to bring together top Alternative Investment firms. The Thematic panel included Alkarim Jivraj, CEO of Espresso Capital, David Vankka, President, CFO and PM at ICM Asset Management and Mike from Westbridge Capital. Mike focused on Westbridge's niche, providing capital to help entrepreneurs transition from active ownership to securing their legacy. Westbridge Capital is pleased to announce the acquisition of Berg Industrial Service Inc. (Berg). Berg, headquartered in Ontario, is a 50-year-old business specializing in installing and servicing industrial chilling systems. It is one part of a two-part business led by Don Berggren. The associated engineering and fabrication business builds solutions for a broad range of industrial chilling applications. Berg is the first acquisition made by Westbridge that incorporates a 10% equity interest for the associated Fund, Westbridge Capital Partners Investment Trust, which participated in the financing.
