Dr. Selk is a distinguished women's health expert, serving as the Clinical Lead for the Colposcopy and Vulvar Dermatology Programs and Head of Academic Affairs in the Department of Obstetrics and #Gynecology at Women's College Hospital. Among her many positions as a leader in this space, she also holds the position of Dr. Selk is also an Associate Professor in #Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. The WCH Healthcare Breakthrough Challenge aims to fund innovative initiatives in clinical care, quality improvement, and education that align with our strategic goals. Next week, three WCH teams will compete, showcasing their unique ideas for a chance to secure funding of up to $100,000. Meet one of three competing teams, led by nurse practitioner Lauren Scott! Working alongside Tania Di Renna, Rachael Bosma and Julie Thorne, their project, 'Just Inhale,' seeks to investigate innovative #analgesic methods, including inhaled medications, to enhance #pain management during #gynecological procedures like #IUD insertions.
