Excited to share our latest work with Friends of Canadian Media/Les Amis des médias canadiens 🇨🇦 Whether or not Canadians should continue to fund the CBC has been a pretty divisive issue. And for months we've had to stand by and endure Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre using his platform to call to defund our national public broadcaster and rally his supporters who have even less savoury words to say about the CBC. So with a federal election on the horizon and the future of the CBC hanging in the balance, we created a campaign to surely turn the heads of people on both sides of the conversation. In 2020, when no one was looking for office space, we signed the lease for our North End office, and it quickly became home to our small creative agency. At the time, it was probably the cool looking factory building or the exposed brick and big windows. But since then, we’ve fallen in love with this amazing neighbourhood (mainly all of the great lunch options) and we love pushing to do our best work from right here in the North End of Halifax. We sat down with the North End Business Association to talk about our small agency and the work we do at Wunder. So if you’ve ever been enjoying an ice cream at Dee Dee’s, looking across the street thinking we’re some kind of German night club, now you know what we do.

Our founders Mike Postma & Stephen Flynn went on the Campaign Canada podcast. Whether you're a young creative looking to get your start in the industry or just curious to hear about the early days of Wunder, it's a great listen.
Episode 7 of the Gen C podcast is live! A particularly special episode featuring two guests: Wunder founders and creative directors Mike Postma and Stephen Flynn. They talk about creating attention grabbing work with small budgets, standing up against the award show system to maintain high creative standards, and consistently punching above one's weight. Wunder took home a Gold at the National Advertising Challenge last night for our Not a Zoo campaign with the Toronto Zoo. They wanted to reach parents of young children to remind them that the zoo is a great family activity, even in the winter months. And it comes with a number of benefits like less crowds and shorter lines. We always love competing in this and keeping our pencils sharp on briefs from great Canadian brands. This marks our 8th win at NAC and 4th Gold. Congrats to all of the winners!

We had a fun night at the Ice Awards last night celebrating the best work in Atlantic Canada, and we’re excited to share that Wunder took home 7 awards across 4 clients. We’re also super proud of our very own Naqsh Sagar, who won the Young Creative competition and will see her winning campaign with Mental Health Foundation of Nova Scotia in market soon! A huge congrats to everyone involved in these wins! Assante Hydrostone United Way Maritimes NSCDA Brigadoon Village

Super excited to share this fun TV campaign with Assante Hydrostone. Through look-alike casting we revived the iconic Mac and PC nearly 20 years after their debut to show their plans for retirement, or lack thereof. Since launching earlier this week, the campaign has been covered by Ad Age, The Clios, Campaign Canada, Strategy Online, Global News and a handful of others. And a huge thanks to Charles Wahl and Accomplice Content Supply Co. for helping us to bring this one to life! Watch the full 3-part series: https://lnkd.in/gM8szHn8

And an even better way to end the week! Our Inflation Flyer campaign with Assante Hydrostone is one of 113 winning campaigns at Communication Arts, selected from nearly 1400 global entries. The work will be featured in the Advertising Annual this fall on magazine stands across North America. We’re super proud of all the hard work that went into bringing this one to life alongside the team at Assante, congratulations to everyone involved!

Not a bad way to start the week! Excited to share that our Inflation Flyer campaign with Assante Hydrostone is shortlisted for 2 Communication Arts awards among the top work from around the world! It’s always fun to find a new way to approach something as archaic as a simple flyer. Winners will be announced at the end of the week.

Our Creative Director Mike Postma sat down with Applied Arts Media to do a deeper dive on our Timestamps campaign with NSCDA. Long story short: AI was not super helpful and we had to watch a lot of Netflix.
